About

A devout of the Order of Nald’thal and devotee to the Sultana, Piyu’s best interest lies in the prosperity of Ul’dah; a future for the city-state in which its streets are clean of crime, there is plenty and fair opportunity for all to work, and where its rule is absent of certain Monetarist’s corruption. However, despite the quality of her home being of top priority she regards all other cities and groups with mirrored aspirations and strives to represent and encourage their spread and influence to others. She is adamant about the well-being and protection of those from all over - her passion does not end Uldah’s gate’s or Thanalan’s sands; the eradication of corruption and criminal individuals is an important cause that this zealot will stand by, regardless of location.

I am comfortable with attempts to inflict any temporary injuries on my character (so long as the attempt is succeeded through /dice), attempts to deal permanently lasting damage or kill my character must be addressed with me beforehand OOCly.

Current Story Events

Pipiyu, with her friends, established a secret, unregistered Free Company looking to bring about what changes they want to see in the world. A shop was erected to mask their group, which they run as an honest business, catering to adventurer's needs within the Goblet. Finding management of the FC, her work as a priestess in the temples, and running the store all too overwhelming, Pipiyu was finally forced to withdraw from the temples, and now has moved into and begun focusing all her time on the store... well, and the secret FC's activities just in the basement below.

Pipiyu can currently commonly be found within Thanalan, specifically near to Ul'dah and The Goblet - but spends more time inside of the shop itself that conceals their Free Company than she does out and about.

Backstory

Piyu's family is of Uldah's upper class, the noble Lala house having made their gold through a long history in textiles and vocality in politics. Only recently in her lineage has religion been taken up occupationally, though worship of The Trader has been ever-present.

Textiles were highly profitable, however, work in Uldah's temples proved more so - and, near-guaranteed a resting place in the Ossuary's deepest depths, often reserved for only the most virtuous and moneyed. Piyu's whole life has been entirely devoted to Nald'thal and his order. She is quite adamant about one day laying at the bottom of the Ossuary herself, and often cuts much of her earnings in offering to the deific twins and their temples.

Before the Calamity Piyu worked between both the Arrzaneth Ossuary and the Milvaneth Sacrarium; imparting wisdom and support to followers, filling Alms boxes, passing on knowledge of the arcane -- and, in the case of being situated in the second of the temples, she would busy herself often by providing treatment and encouragement to the sick or injured, while at the first location she would ensure safe passage into the realm of the dead (you know, for when treatment at the wards didn't go as planned).

Now as the Sacrarium undergoes its repair Piyu finds herself situated more frequently within the Ossuary than in Uldah's temporary wards. This increased amount of time beyond temple walls has drawn her attention particularly towards the ill-treatment of Uldah's refugees and lower classes, towards what corruption manifests within even the Syndicate and their brass blades; currently, she hopes to see that true peace, order, and power is restored to Uldah.
